I love the explosion there. This is definitely a day one purchase for me.
I can see where some might take his comment as a swipe against the guys at Sony but perhaps it was not that at all. He had been shown first hand what Home is like and with that in mind, perhaps he is bummed it's not out yet. I know I am!
I can say that from what I am seeing at the moment, this game looks like it will be a blast. I loved the first one and now to be in the jungle... Just cool IMHO.
No matter the color pallet, I love the art direction they have taken with this game. War is not pretty and unless you're in a jungle, there is less chances of much color, especially when you're on a planet like this one.
They show off just how quickly Insomniac has imporved greatly on an already great game engine. In such a short time they have made this franchise look much better. I am definitely looking forward to this when it comes out.

I guess I look at it like this. Fewer games on the PS3 have multiplayer but some of them that do make small change out of the ones played on any other system. Rather than creating a fickle and frequent moving community, it would seem that Sony is dedicated to making games that sustain a large community for years after the games are released. It was exactly what I was thinking. I have a Zune and have to say that I like it but in the end, any handheld by MS would sell to the devout and that is about it. Outside of that it would be the Zune of gaming and could not compete.
Just out of curiosity, what is it about the two games that makes you say that R2 won't look as good as Gears 2? Just asking...

Nope. Ninty needs to get this right before releasing this stuff. Not to say that a 10 year old should be so worried about their weight but Ninty should have done something to prevent this.

That game is as good as they said. I loved it when I was playing it but never thought that over 15 months later, the game would still be getting this much attention.
That building falling apart was amazing! Talk about detail and the color was great. War is not pretty pink shards of plasma from a purple gun, it's dark and horrible. Nice video!

They have made it so that any monkey could swap out the HDD for a bigger one. You can use any 2.5 SATA drive and it takes about 5 minutes of your time. Heck, at least it's still the cheapest of the consoles to upgrade drive space.
Dell is top of the list and second... Yeah, that would be MS. Sony is down at the bottom around 3% while Dell is at 19% and MS's 13%. Pretty sad considering that as far as game consoles go, MS should have the best CS with the number od issues they have to deal with. Not looking good for them and their reputation for the next gen.

You speak of the future and say that the PS3 will not sell like the PS2 and yet, from the numbers, the PS3 is tracking as well as and even better in some regions than the PS2 so I wonder how long it will be for you to see that there is a greater chance that the PS3 sells like the PS2 than you think... Considering that the Zune is capable, as capable as any Cell phone, it is the likely chance for success for them in the handheld gaming sceene. It seems to me that Cell Phone games are getting more and more popular and to have an MP3 player do just that, it just makes sense to me. I would love to have these games on my Zune. I'll have to get working on this tonight.
